Long-Acting Injectable Buprenorphine Course
This training will form part of pre-requisite training required for pharmacists to administer depot buprenorphine to both support increased awareness of depot buprenorphine and facilitate pharmacist injection of depot buprenorphine.

Multi-Dose Vial Training
The Australasian College of Pharmacy has developed video and print resources that provide step-by-step information for Pharmacist Immunisers in the preparation of COVID-19 vaccines that do not require reconstitution or dilution.
Oral Contraceptives Course
With the role of pharmacists continuing to grow, this new Oral Contraceptives Course complements pharmacists’ journey to upskill and train towards an extended scope of practice.
Take Home Naloxone Training
Both pharmaceutical (e.g. oxycodone, fentanyl) and non-pharmaceutical opioids (e.g. heroin) can cause several side effects. Respiratory failure is a serious side effect of opioid use, where a person may lose consciousness and stop breathing, which can result in death.
This may be referred to as an ‘opioid adverse reaction’ or ‘opioid overdose’ and can happen even when someone uses opioid medicines at their prescribed dose.
Travel Health Course
The College continues to enable pharmacists to expand their scope of practice with the launch of the Travel Health Course.
On completion of this CPD-accredited Travel Health course, participating pharmacists will be able to provide vaccination and healthcare services for the purpose of travel.
Uncomplicated Cystitis Training
This course provides training to support the supply of acute cystitis treatment in accordance with the Australasian College of Pharmacy Pharmacist Treatment Guidance: Uncomplicated Cystitis.
